Budding Marine Biologist

Come for an afternoon of exploration and learning all about Budding Marine Biologists!

 

We hear about solids, liquids, and gases - but what about those squishy fluids that are a bit in between? This workshop explores non-Newtonian fluids, chemical reactions, and polymers through  experiments and demonstrations.

Come out and have fun as you learn how to dance with the Fraser Valley Square Dance Society!

​

This fun-filled afternoon will introduce your children to various types of social dances. They will be given a ‘passport’ which will allow them to take part in all four modules, teach them two types of dancing, allow them to create a craft, and offer them a snack.  
This workshop is suited for children ages 6-13.
To receive the most benefit from this workshop please arrive at the beginning of the session. Doors will open at 12:30 PM
for registration and time to make a name tag.

Come for a morning of 4-1 coaching as an introduction to the game of golf!  Children will be provided with the opportunity to develop a variety of fundamental movement skills such as travelling skills, object control skills and balance movements. The CORE of this level is to create experiences and environments that compel children to explore and assert their agency over their immediate surroundings, all while feeling connected to a dynamic and accessible community of PLAY, which is priority number one. 
LABsters will provide any equipment needed.

 

LABsters is a junior program devoted to introducing children to the game of golf and encouraging their development of golf, physical and life skills to the child's desired level of play. The LABsters program is designed to introduce kids to the game of golf through play and create a pathway for kids to further explore their skills.

 We offer private lessons, group lessons, spring and summer camps, and tournaments.

Come join the circus!

In this 1.5 hour introductory experience kids will get to try silks, juggling, trampoline and more!

 

Circus Lab is a circus school in Langley encouraging creativity, physical-literacy and confidence through circus arts. We have programs for toddlers, children, teens, adults, children with special needs, homelearners, future ninjas, camps and birthdays parties!

Maplewood Farm is five acres of rural family fun in the urban heart of the North Shore.  The farm is home to over 200 friendly domestic animals and birds, and offers a unique and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages.

 

You can enjoy the Rabbitat, goathill, duck yard, Jersey cow and more. Walking paths & picnic area.

Richmond Martial Arts teaches a fun and energetic kids martial arts program for ages 2 and up incorporating life skills.  Come experience an introductory martial arts class.

 

We offer kids classes, virtual programs, after school program with pickup from select schools, parents night out, birthday parties and seasonal camps when kids are out of school.

Elevate Ultimate.jpg

Elevate Ultimate Frisbee

Elevate Ultimate was started in 2016 by two Team Canada players and coaches, Ari and Danie. Since then, they have brought Ultimate Frisbee to over 10,000 kids through their In-School and After-School programs. Elevate Ultimate focuses on teaching values such as sportspersonship, personal accountability, and open-mindedness, through the Sport and Spirit of Ultimate Frisbee.

 

At the Kidsworld Demo, kids will be introduced to the basic Ultimate throws (Backhand and Forehand) all while staying engaged with Elevate's ULTIMATE twist on classic games such as Capture the Flag. Parents are invited to play for the last 20 minutes to see if they can beat the Kids and Coaches!
